The thefts occurred in three separate incidents on both Monday, Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 3:45 p.m. at car washes in both Mamaroneck and Pelham Manor, according to the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department.

In all of the incidents, unknown suspects stole vehicles from the car washes in a "coordinated manner" after the vehicles were cleaned and left unattended, police said.

The incident on Tuesday happened at the Dip-In Car Wash located in Mamaroneck at 712 Mamaroneck Ave. The locations where the other two thefts happened were not immediately released by police.

"Please keep an eye on your vehicle while it is being washed, as this is an ongoing investigation," police said in a post on social media.
